    ew, sloths perposly dont clean themselves so they can grow moss and algy on their fur to keep there imune up and so preditors dont eat them- i wouldnt want one touching me!

    that is super cute. i would definitely want to hold that little guy. and he’s too young to have any moss and algae growth even if he wasn’t a captive animal – which it looks like he is.

    They are endangered as well as having poisonous sent glands and the pet trade knocks their front teeth out so the don’t bite. Other than that they are cute so there is money to be had from stupid people that want instant cute and don’t care how much the animal suffers, so long as they get their “cute”.

    Heya! I realize this is sort of off-topic however I needed to ask.
