Eeeee it’s my baby! :D It feels a little funny saying so, but thanks for featuring him. This is my favorite picture of him. :) He actually has a little story, though I didn’t mention it when I sent the picture in.

It was raining outside and I was sleeping late that day and relaxing, when my mother suddenly came in my room and threw something wet on my belly. I woke up with a start going “what… what…?” to find a little wet tuxedo kitten sitting on me looking all confused. It turns out while mom was sorting the garbage out front she found him hiding from the rain in a cardboard box. He was only about 3 months old and he and I became his new mommy very quickly. :) We took him to the vet to have him checked out, and after getting a scary, scary shot he ran to me and curled up in my hands~ Fortunately he was in perfect health, and he even took to the litterbox with no trouble at all! We had asked around if anyone was missing a kitten but no one came forward. That was about 4 years ago now I think. I come from a bit of a cat family, and my mom has a tradition of naming our cats after mythical gods, goddesses, creatures, etc, but I couldn’t come up with a name that suited him other then Othello (after the game with black and white pieces, which I guess is named after the Shakespearean play)~

Oh, and sometimes I draw him with our other cat Pandora. :) I have a whole series of drawings in my gallery (which I linked to)… not that I’m bragging or anything. :x

Anyway, thank you again. :) Your site always makes me smile!

Thanks for your information, MoonCat. I once had a cat that looked almost the same.

This one looks a little like “No find, no bath” to me.

Dear MoonCat: Thanks for the story of Othello. Our family had a similar situation years ago when a tuxedo kitten “found” us. My sister named her Domino, after the black and white game, Dominoes. This cat gave the family years of pleasure. She is now in kitty heaven. There is a black and white Grecian urn in the back yard to remind us of our “Domi”.
