Reader Michelle S. wrote in about her kitteh named Lavi. Here’s what she had to say:
“Hi! I wanted to introduce my kitty, Lavi. She’s about five years old and was adopted from the shelter. The folks there said she was initially found in an alley wearing a collar, but no one came forward to claim her. She was adopted by a family looking for a farm cat. They had to bring her back to the shelter, as she didn’t seem to have a clue as to what to do outdoors with farm animals. Apparently she was almost stepped upon by horses several times and was completely oblivious to dangers, so she came back to the shelter to try for a more appropriate home. That’s when I found her and brought her to mine, where she remains indoors and has comfy beds. I named her Lavi before I found out it was Hebrew for lion, which I thought was rather awesome”
