Entrecard, it’s OVAH.
This was really hard for me to do, but it MUST be done. After giving you so many chances to redeem yourself and not crash ma’ computer when using your service, you have failed yet again. Honestly, how many second chances do you need? I’ll admit, we had some good times, and I’ve met some great friends, but the good times do not outweigh the bad. Overall, it’s been a headache.
To all the bloggers who I’ve met, I hope we can continue a friendship via our respective blogs. I’m sorry for those of you who were hoping to advertise on my site via the widget, but I can’t keep putting my computer in compromised positions with the problems I keep having.
My main issues are as follows:
Entrecard is a time-suck. I spent so much time “dropping” cards for little benefit.
The biggest issue is that when “dropping” cards, the session always ends with having multiple windows open up again, and again, and again, to the point where it freezes my computer/s and crashes. This is not a healthy relationship. It was never just one specific profile either, it’s never consistent.
So, like SamRo to LaLohan, I’m changing the locks sweets…

That multiple windows opening seemed to be with just some blogs. I presumed it was a virus at those sites.
While it did randomly happen, some sites did it every time. I just stopped going to them and that pretty much stopped the problem.

Entrecard, off late, never made any sense to me. They introduced the ad network, only to be told that the money collected from the ads would go to Entrecard for future development! Why on earth would I want to rent ad space on my blog and then not get paid for it! Seems they are in dire need for charity but are too shy to ask for it.
Honestly, Entrecard is an Epic Fail.
